1002Q..1972 Corvette LT1 Coupe, 350-255 hp (LT1), 4 speed, numbers matching original motor, transmission and rear end, also has factory original body/trim tag, 58,040 actual miles. Mille Miglia Red paint with Black interior. Original unrestored survivor in amazing condition considering it's 50 years old. NO HIT body with rust-free frame. Bloomington Silver and Gold certified, Bloomington Gold Survivor certified and three regional NCRS Top Flight awards. Also earned the Tri-Power and Presidents award in 2019. These original unmolested cars are among the rarest of rare and are rising to the top of the Corvette food chain as unrestored cars are used as guideposts for restorers, shining a light on the way vehicles were originally built and represent the standards which historians, judges, and future restorers can use to determine factory authenticity. The solid feel of an excellent unrestored car cannot be overstated! Also has an affirmation by CCAS/Grenning as to the legitimacy and originality of the engine block, stamp pad, and the engine stamp. Only 1,741 LT1's were produced in 1972! Optioned with leather, shoulder harness, M-21, 3.70 posi, SS brakes, A.I.R., AM/FM radio, tinted glass, rallys and Firestone wide oval raised white lettered tires. Also included are the original tires and wheels. Most all factory correct type components including the original spare, jack, jack tools, floor mats, TTop bags, shocks, seat belts, washer system, smog system, shifter, shielding, air cleaner, carb, distributor, spark plug shields, hoses, hose clamps, window glass, valve covers, key knockouts, starter, expansion tank, radiator, gas door assembly, warranty book, owners manual, sales brochure, and T-3 headlights. Documented with the tank sticker, dealer invoice, P.O.P., owner history, copy of original title, Bloomington and NCRS judging sheets/certificates, owners manual packet, receipts, CCAS/Grenning Engine Stamp Affirmation, and two 3-ring binders. Production date of April 10th, 1972 and delivered new by Sam Leman Chevrolet in Roanoke, ILL (dealer code 359 in zone 47) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR).Invited by NCRS to be used at their national judging retreat.
