1042E..1969 Corvette Motion Phase III T-Top, a Rosen recommended special-order balanced, blueprinted, and dynoed 482 CID-600 hp, ZL/X "Elephant" motor with 4 speed and Hone overdrive. This was the most powerful Phase III Corvette that Motion built in 1969! Fathom Green paint with Saddle Tan interior. Very original unrestored car... all in excellent condition, considering that this car has had limited use and only 15,082 actual miles. These original unmolested cars are among the rarest of rare and are rising to the top of the Corvette food chain as unrestored cars are used as guideposts for restorers, shining a light on the way vehicles were originally built. The Motion Phase III package included twenty Motion super car club options and the 600 hp ZL/X "Elephant" motor which is claimed to be the only one documented and known to exist (optioned package of $7,995.00). Other options include side exhaust, headrests, shoulder harness, transistorized ignition, M-21, 5:13 posi with hone disengaged and 3:60 ratio with hone engaged, F-41 special heavy duty suspension, SS brakes, AM/FM radio, side louver trim, tinted glass, American racing wheels and Mickey Thompson Indy profile blackwall tires. Most all factory correct type components. Documented with the tank sticker (LR-435 at birth), warranty pamphlet/P.O.P., pre-delivery check sheet, owners manual packet, notarized letter from original owner, complete owner history back to delivering dealer, and original letter of authenticity from Joel Rosen/Motion Performance, Inc. dated February 19th, 2003. Editorialized in "Tales of a Muscle Car Builder - MOTION PERFORMANCE" with four pages of photos and text. The driver seat headrest is signed by Joel Rosen and the passenger seat headrest is signed by Marty Schorr. Special Display Invitational to the 2015 Detroit Autorama. Production date of January 30th, 1969 and delivered new by Reedman Chevrolet of Langhorne, PA (dealer code 546 in zone 15) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR). From the John O'Quinn collection since 2005 and value estimated by RM at $250,000.00 to $350,000.00. This is considered a "super car" and not a muscle car and is much rarer than the L88!! Looks, runs, and drives super strong! P.O.R. email: terry@proteamcorvette.com SOLD Share on Facebook |
