1026M..1965 Corvette Convertible, 396-425 hp, 4 speed, numbers matching, also has factory original body/trim tag, 49,393 actual miles. Rally Red paint with White/Black combination interior, and White soft top. Very rare color combination. Body-off restored in show condition. NCRS Top Flight certified and Vette Fest Gold Spinner award. Transmission and rear end are also numbers matching. Big block 396-425 hp was only available in 1965 with only 2,157 produced. Optioned with factory side exhaust, power antenna, teakwood wheel, telescopic, M-20, 3.55 posi, F-40 special heavy duty suspension, SS brakes, AM/FM radio, tinted windshield, K.O. aluminum wheels, and Coker classic gold stripe tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, K.O. wheel hammer, F-40 shocks, seat belts, washer system, shifter, shielding, braided wires, air cleaner, alternator, distributor, spark plug shields, hoses, hose clamps, window glass, fuel filter, starter, carb, expansion tank, radiator, gas door assembly, bowtie mirror, glove box door, warranty book, owners manual, sales brochure, and T-3 headlights. Documented with the warranty book/P.O.P., owners manual packet, NCRS and Vette Fest Gold Spinner judging sheets, restoration receipts, and 3-ring binder. Production date of July 14th, 1965 and delivered new by Defouw Chevrolet in Lafayette, IN (dealer code 118 in zone 25) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR).
