1045E...1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe Z06 Tanker, 327-360 hp, (fuelie), 4 speed, numbers match, also has the factory original body/trim tag. Sebring Silver paint with Black interior. Body-off restored in show condition. These type restorations normally cost between $80,000.00 to $125,000.00. Bloomington Gold certified, Vette Fest Gold Spinner award, and NCRS Top Flight certified in 2013. Optioned with the 36 gallon gas tank, Z06 racing suspension/brakes package, off road exhaust, power brakes, T-10 transmission, 3.70 posi, radio delete, fuel injection, tinted glass, two bar Kelsey K.O. aluminum wheels, and non-D.O.T. 6.70x15" blackwall tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, seat belts, washer system, shifter, air cleaner, F.I. unit, F.I. fuel filter, two bar Kelsey K.O. aluminum wheels, owners manual, sales, brochure, and T-3 headlights. Documented with restoration photos/receipts, owner history back to 1967 and selling dealer in 1963, copies of old titles, owners manual packet, Bloomington Gold certificate and judging sheets. Also includes a large three ring binder with correspondence from past owners, appraisals, and Z06 surveys. This car has been and is currently undergoing an exhaustive history investigation by Bill Gould of Auto Ancestry which is turning-up some very valuable data. This car has previously been owned by the who's who of Corvette collections and was inspected and appraised by Eric Gill back in 1988. Found in 1986 by Howard Baker of East Ohio in unrestored condition. Production date of February 12th, 1963 and delivered new by Jim Connell Chevrolet of East Cleveland, Ohio (dealer code 93 in zone 28) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR).
