1023T..1963 Corvette Z06 Fuelie Split Window Tanker Coupe, 327-360 hp, fuel injected, 4 speed, numbers matching motor, transmission and rear end, also has factory original body/trim tag with a CCAS/Grenning Trim Tag Affirmation, and less than 200 miles since restoration. Riverside Red paint with Tuxedo Black interior. One of 63 tanker coupes and one of 199 Z06 Corvettes produced in 1963. Optioned with power brakes with Z06 dual circuit master cylinder, M-20, 3.36 posi, RPO N03-36 gallon fuel tank, Z06 Special Performance equipment option, Z06 special heavy duty metallic brakes with cooling fans, Z06 special heavy duty suspension, shocks, springs, sway bar, AM/FM radio, fuel injection, off road exhaust, hubcaps and vintage 6.70x15” blackwall tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, shocks, seat belts, washer system, shifter, shielding, air cleaner, alternator, distributor, idler pulley, spark plug shields, hoses, hose clamps, window glass, valve covers, F.I. unit, F.I. fuel filter, starter, 6-qt. oil pan, finned balancer, master cylinder with correct cap, exhaust heat shields, expansion tank, radiator, voltage regulator, gas door assembly, Bowtie mirror, glove box door, cookie tin hood, warranty book, owners manual, sales brochure, and T-3 headlights. Documented with the Z06 Tank Registry, owner history, restoration photos, CCAS/Grenning Trim Tag Affirmation, owners manual packet, Jeff Reade of American Motoring Memories (Culver City, CA) mechanical receipts, copy of previous owner title showing recovered theft, Corvette Magazine, Muscle Machines magazine, and four 3-ring binders in several boxes of most show awards, certificates and judging sheets. Production date of April 30th, 1963 and delivered new by B.F. Chevrolet in Commack, NY (dealer code 18 in zone 27) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Report (SDR). Today, the one-year only split window remains one of the most iconic designs in the history of the American automobile and as a result, the 199 factory built Z06’s are simply in a league of their own!
