1011T..1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe, 327-300 hp, factory air, 4 speed, numbers matching original motor, also has factory original body/trim tag with CCAS/Grenning Trim Tag Affirmation. Saddle Tan paint with matching Saddle Tan interior. A rather rare 1963 color combination and one of the lowest production colors in 1963 that become both appreciable and undeniable when you view in person and a color fitting for a champagne connoisseur. Also has an affirmation by CCAS/Grenning as to the legitimacy and originality of the engine block, stamp pad, and the engine stamp. Comprehensive nut and bolt rotisserie restoration completed in 2018 of a truly rare split window optioned with factory air conditioning in show condition. The first year production air conditioned 1963 Corvettes are quite unique in comparison to the 1964-67 A/C Corvettes as there are over 25 items that are unique to the 1963 A/C Corvettes and it takes a trained eye to know and determine a real deal of which has been done. These type restorations normally cost between $125,000.00 to $175,000.00. Optioned with factory air conditioning (one of 278 produced), power brakes, power windows, T-10 transmission, 3.36 rear, AM/FM radio, aluminized exhaust, seat belts, tinted glass, K.O. aluminum wheels, and vintage 6.70x15" white stripe tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, clear floor mats, washer system, shifter, shielding, air cleaner, #633 A/C alternator, A/C radiator support, spark plug shields, hoses, hose clamps, #3461S carb, expansion tank, gas door assembly, bowtie mirror, glove box door, cookie tin hood, owners manual, sales brochure, and T-3 headlights. Documented with the CCAS/Grenning Engine Stamp Affirmation, CCAS/Grenning Trim Tag Affirmation, Tom Christman A/C inspection and validation report dated March 17th, 2017 (prior to restoration) as Tom is the custodian and 1963 A/C expert author of the 1963 Air Conditioning Registry. This recently restored Corvette has yet to be shown, creating an exciting opportunity for the next owner to exhibit the car and compete for trophies, awards, and recognition! Production date of May 13th, 1963 and delivered new by Ed Rinke Chevrolet in Centerline, MI (dealer code 384 in zone 44) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR). Just in from the Lindquist Corvette Collection. Today, the one-year only split window remains one of the most iconic designs in the history of the American automobile and as a result, the 278 factory built air conditioned 1963's are simply in a league of their own. Looks, runs, and drives excellent. CC:1 T.B.D. Consigned to the Mecum Kissimmee Collector Car Auction on January 16th, 17th, and 18th 2025 Share on Facebook Questions/Comments?
