1009L..1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe, 327-340 hp, fuel injected 4-speed, numbers matching OEM block included, also has factory original body/trim tag, 2 owner California car with 30,193 actual miles. Sebring Silver paint with Tuxedo Black interior. Original unrestored low-mile example of the iconic one year only split window coupe in amazingly good condition with a NO HIT body. These original unmolested cars are among the rarest of rare and are rising to the top of the Corvette food chain as unrestored cars are used as guideposts for restorers, shining a light on the way vehicles were originally built. The solid feel of an excellent unrestored car cannot be overstated! Also has matching numbers transmission and rear end. Purchased by second owner in the mid 1970's who drove it to Indiana from California. The original motor failed on this trip. Car currently is running a Chevrolet service short block from 1975 at which time he upgraded the carburation with a period correct complete 1963 fuel injection system. Optioned with T-10 transmission, 3.70 posi, J65 sintered metallic brakes, AM/FM radio, fuel injection, off road exhaust, hubcaps, and white stripe tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, clear floor mats, seat belts, washer system, shifter, shielding, air cleaner, alternator, idler pulley, hoses, hose clamps, hood alignment blocks, F.I. unit, F.I. fuel filter, starter, finned balancer, ball joints, expansion tank, gas cap, roller gas door assembly, bowtie mirror, glove box door, cookie tin hood, wiring zip ties, owners manual, sales brochure, and T-3 headlights. Documented with California registrations back to May 1963, California black plate, second owner 1970's title, and 3-ring binder. Currently the original OEM block is being hot tanked, maniflexed, and pressure tested. Production date of April 4th, 1963 and delivered new by Courtesy Chevrolet in San Jose, CA (dealer code 150 in zone 6) per the official NCRS/GM shipping data records (SDR).
