1022T..1957 Corvette Convertible Hardtop, 283-270 hp, (2x4s), 3-speed, numbers matching. Venetian Red paint with Beige coves and Red interior. Body-off restored by NCRS judge (Ed Hoffman) resulting in a plethora of awards that include Bloomington Gold, four NCRS Top Flight awards, the NCRS (PV) Performance Verification award and the coveted NCRS Duntov Mark of Excellence award. This restoration included blue printing the motor with a Duntov cam and #997 heads. The expenses involved in obtaining these awards would surely exceed $20,000.00. These type restorations normally cost between $125,000.00 to $150,000.00. Radio, heater, and soft top delete car optioned with auxiliary hardtop, posi, dual fours, off road exhaust, hubcaps, and vintage 6.70x15" wide white tires. Also has custom fit car cover. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, trunk mat, trunk liner, rebound straps, spiral shocks, shifter, air cleaners, generator, starter, distributor, hoses, hose clamps, hood alignment blocks, nine fin valve covers, hood pop-ups, fuel filter, carbs, guide Y-50 mirror, owners manual, sales brochure, and T-3 headlights. Documented with the original owners manual, California black license plates, restoration photos, NCRS Confirmation of Awards, show awards, certificates, and judging sheets all neatly organized in no less than 4 binders.
