138Z..1953 Corvette Convertible, VIN #112, Blue Flame Six, powerglide, numbers match. Polo White paint with Sportsman Red interior and Black soft top. Body-off restored in excellent condition. These type restorations normally cost between $80,000.00 to $125,000.00. Very straight nice body and excellent rust-free frame. Optioned with powerglide, Wonderbar radio, e-brake warning light, windshield washers, courtesy lights, heater, hubcaps, and 6.70x15" wide white tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack tools, trunk mat, trunk liner, side windows, side window bag, rebound straps, spiral shocks, washer system, shifter, shielding, air cleaners, generator, side draft carbs, and hood pop-ups. Documented with owner history, 1953 registry in Noland Adams books, and photos from 1977. Listed in the National 1953-55 Corvette Registry. St. Joe county, Indiana car since late 1960's and prior to that from California. Very rare first year Corvette (one of 300 produced and one of an estimated 125 to 140 that have survived).
