343X..1969 Corvette Convertible, L-88, 4 speed, numbers match, 40,000+ actual miles. Burgundy paint with Black interior and White soft top. Body-off restored in excellent condition. Recent Gold Spinner Award at the November 2006 Vette Fest Nationals. Radio delete car optioned with aluminum heads, M-22, factory side exhaust, transistorized ignition, 4.56 posi, headrest seats, F-41 special heavy duty suspension, power brakes, J-56 heavy duty brakes, audio alarm system, rallys, and F-70x15" red stripe tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, seat belts, smog system, shifter, L-88 plug wires, air cleaner, owners manual, sales brochure, and T-3 headlights. Rare L-88 Corvette and one of 116 produced in 1969 and one of a total production of 216 L-88's only produced in 1967, 1968, and 1969. This was a purpose built Corvette that was underrated by GM at 430 hp and a well known fact that the true horse power was in excess of 550 hp. Documented with tank sticker (build sheet), notarized witness affidavit pertaining to the tank sticker removal and an article in Corvette Fever Magazine.
